On 19 October 2026, the SEEDS Greening Campuses pilot activity was successfully completed in Livno, bringing together 14 pupils from Srednja strukovna škola Silvija Strahimira Kranjčevića to learn about agroecology and contribute to improving their immediate environment.

The activity began with a dedicated lecture tailored to younger audiences, exploring agroecology through the pupils’ own perspectives. The session encouraged them to consider its importance, connect its principles with their everyday surroundings and recognise their role in caring for the environment.

Learning then moved into practical participation, as pupils became actively involved in greening their school environment. Connecting discussion with action gave them an opportunity to put their learning into practice within a space they use every day.

We thank all 14 pupils for their commitment, active participation and contribution throughout the activity. Their involvement demonstrates the value of giving young people a meaningful role in shaping more sustainable school environments.
