The SEEDS Manual on Agroecology has been published as a key output of the SEEDS – Sowing agroEcological education in the VET sector project, co-funded by the European Union. Agroecology is an interdisciplinary approach that links sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, local food systems, and social resilience. While agroecology is increasingly embedded in public policies and education systems across Europe, it remains a developing concept in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The SEEDS Manual provides an overview of the state of agroecological education in European Union countries and the Western Balkans, offering good practices and practical recommendations for integrating agroecology into education and everyday practice. Special attention is given to youth engagement, local knowledge, short food supply chains, and climate resilience. The document represents an important step towards strengthening agroecological education and supporting sustainable rural development.
